Join Alderfield.
A neighbourhood clinic with a simple belief: therapy should give you your life back, not just your range of motion.
Our story
Therapy measured in everyday victories.
Alderfield began when Dr. Daniel Morris, a hospital occupational therapist, noticed what discharge papers never captured: patients whose joints had “recovered” but who still could not cook, drive or return to work. He opened a small practice focused on the gap between clinical recovery and real life.
A decade later we are a team of three clinicians and one shared obsession — the moment a patient does something unaided for the first time. Every plan we write ends in a real task, in a real kitchen, workplace or garden.
Our vision
A community where injury, illness or age never decides what a person can do — where every patient rediscovers confidence in their own hands, home and work.
Our mission
Hands-on therapy, honest guidance and practical home programmes that return strength, skill and independence — one meaningful activity at a time.
Our promise
Plain explanations, honest timelines and home plans you will actually follow. If a treatment is not working, we say so — and change it.
How we work
One patient, one plan, one hour.
Every Alderfield session is one-to-one for a full hour — no hand-offs to machines, no shared slots. Your therapist assesses, treats, coaches and revises your home programme in the same visit, so nothing gets lost between appointments.
- Full-hour, one-to-one sessions — always
- Written home plans after every visit
- Measured re-testing, not guesswork
